Hi EK & Joni, Just wanted to wish you luck with your new blog site, the layout looks great. Your take on Dennis Kucinich’s comments are interesting to bring up, overall the Democrats would not have someone so far left to represent them. Currently Hillary Clinton is not as far left and closer to left of center which would give them a better chance for the win in the general election. Hillary Clinton still has the issues you mentioned in mind but remember if she wins she goes head to head with the Senate and House which would be in control but if she goes to fast on some issues this could change in the mid-term elections and pull the Congress slightly to right of center. So Advice to Hillary “walk slow” and she has a better chance of winning on some of her issues.
Prediction for election November 2008
Hillary Clinton, Democrat vs
Mitt Romney, Republican
Hillary Clinton wins
Good Luck EK & Joni, Say hello to everyone in Vancover BC
I am 100% behind your comments on Clinton being the old guard Washington insider and McCain being a flip flopper on big issues. I know people here in Phoenix who say that McCain “forgets when its time to forget and remembers when its time to remember” when questioned on major issues. I personally don’t like his stance on illegal immigration and his non-background in business and economics. For the Republican side most feel that Mitt Romney in better prepared to represent the them. As for Barrack Obama I like his idea on health care and not being the classic Washington insider, he could win it overall. Yes EK your right, not another Clinton in the White House with Bill as First Lady. You see now most Republican endorsements are stacking up for John McCain even though most feel he does not have true conservatives views as Mitt Romney has. This is all CANCELLED OUT; thinking he would have a better chance of pulling in the independents in the big Red states such as California, Ohio, Florida in the general election and they may be correct.
